I've finished writing my Christmas cards for the UK at last. Need stamps. Won't start the French ones yet, not so urgent.

We've been watching Schindler's List, so horribly awful and sad. Made me think of Ukraine. Will watch the other half tomorrow. Have seen it before.

Ruby, I think your temperature last night was colder than over this side of the Pennines. I remember that film from a while ago Busy. Very sad indeed and thinking it is based on a true story makes it so much more of a harrowing watch.

    Morning all.

Cold and foggy here but sun should come out later.

We are going to try out another local village restaurant for lunch.

Morning all. Slept in again today, must be too cosy in bed for the body to want to get out. OH and is havendecidedmtommske a little, trip out to a garden centre today, just for a browse and just to get out. We are looking for a plant but not worried about finding anything at this time of year obviously.
That wrist support was a godsend yesterday. My wrist this morning is fine so it has really helped it ย keeping it still. Rubee, this rheumatism isn't quite like arthritis from what a specialist told me. It's more like symptoms and problems ย of disease and attacks the soft tissue and joints, whereas arthritis is damage and inflammation to joints . Most odd and I am so am thankful I don't ย get a flare up too often.
Enough of that now, medical lesson over๐Ÿ˜‚
Feels very cold again today judging by the digital thermometer in the hall brrr. Roll on spring.

Good afternoon. Itโ€™s a raw, damp day today, but at least the fog has gone. This damp seems to seep into everywhere. OH has been out collecting more leaves, so the garden looks tidy once more until the next lot fall down.
Cant motivate myself much today, I think itโ€™s in part due to this awful grey weather. Give me chilly and blue skies over chilly and grey ones any time.
Hope those of you suffering various aches and pains soon feel some relief from them.
Well, lunch time beckons so better get a wiggle on.ย  :)

I enjoyed lunch at the village restaurant. First course was a delicious variant of cheese on toast. Aubergine and tomato purรฉe topped with mozzarella dribbled with pesto grilled on baguette. Then a tender piece of pork with a selection of vegetables then chocolate fondant with pears and crรชme Chantilly. Followed by espresso coffee, all for 15.50โ‚ฌ.

I must go and work it off raking up leaves.
