    That's pretty unfortunate-looking, @Marlorena!

How does Vitax Q4 compares to Vitax azalea. I havent done a soil test but I have very happy acid loving plants Acers, Camellias, rhododendrons, hydrangeas etc so I might not need to add acidic fertilizer.
The Vitax Azalea is pretty much an identical formula to the old DA one newbie. The acid ferts have a bit more of the micronutrients unavailable in alkaline soils but tiny amounts, so won’t do any harm.

The main difference is the nitrogen element seems a bit low in the Q4, 5.3 as opposed to 9 in the azalea..

    Vitax Azalea:

Q4 - this was the green pack called ‘professional’, couldn’t find a nutrient list for the ordinary yellow one:

Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

I'm a bit puzzled by that 'nursery'.. I put in quotes because they operate from a semi detached house in a very ordinary suburban road in south London.  I'm surprised they are able to sell as a 'garden centre'.. I mean, just look at the front garden..

Their rose list says 'TCL' to me although I've not compared.  I struggle to see how they can have all those roses..

I'm also wondering if they have a connection with The Midlands as they seem to offer free delivery to that area, Coventry etc..

Ha, it is very possible! I think it's an enterprising Polish woman called Marta behind it. They do sell a lot of things TCL don't have but I daresay they have other sources. But... they do at least sell what they claim to sell, and cheaply too.. which is what concerns me. The Polish and Russian nurseries don't seem to despatch here so I just drool over their websites lol

wow Marlorena.. impressed with your investigation..
edit; not an expert, but some of those FB pics have ?polish labels on their pots..

WAMS, how long did they take to send you their roses? Wouldn't it take atleast a week to 10 days for a TCL delivery?
Sorry about your other rose.. will see how TW responds to that.. I had one from TW delivered by Parcel force during one of those postal strike days and it took almost 4 (or 5) days.. wonder if these issues made them change their service provider..

@Nollie I feel you have access to a huge collection of roses compared to us in UK.. Guillot, Delbard, Massad etc..

^it's that time of year again, coming up..
Certainly an impressive list of roses from Welling, we can't normally get most of those here..
Although if anyone wants an 'Eisvogel' ['Kingfisher'].. Fryer's sell it under the name '20th Anniversary'..  I loathe these name changes..
Fryer's have a good selection actually, not one I normally look at..
