    @Tack
    He's doing a great job... that'll be all done in a jiffy... all we can do right now is buy plants, my greenhouse is getting choc-a-bloc..

    @Perki
    Sorry you lost some Salvias.. I lost Amistad, no idea how you get that one to overwinter..

    @pitter-patter
    I like that Achilea very much.. I'll look out for 'Red Velvet' then, I hope they flower for a long time..

    Its is a day of scrolling through the plant nursery websites, I don't need anymore plants or want anymore  ;) but you know weakness happens and things get bought  >:)  . I could do to sort my plant stash out , I say this every year get them planted or give away etc but it just keeps growing I am over run with plants with no home .

    It is a shame, but it's just got too big for the space and was overwhelming the other roses round it. But at least it's being replanted in the garden of the town's historic old hall. So some good has come from it.
    What do you suggest I need to do about the soil I've dug up from around it and is lying on the surface, from the point of view of replant disease. Will I need to dispose of it or can it be spread thinly over the surface.

    ..nice border @zugenie  we should ask @WAMS to recommend 'Boule de Neige'.. as both this and 'FP' are of an age, so to speak..

    @Pete.8
    Yes you should amend the soil for replanting as that rose had left its mark, but not too much, it wasn't there that long,  but the top soil is ok to just spread around, that's not a problem..  a few spades of soil from elsewhere mixed with some compost should be enough..

    I keep forgetting to ask if anyone would like the smaller of the two DA catalogues as I've received both. I'm happy to post within reason.

    ..that's a really nice mini border @Athelas ,.. those colours are just right..

    I'm yet to be persuaded by these Pheno Geno roses but the foliage always looks good on them.. and I keep looking..

    @tack .. I've got 4 of those.. a fun selection, I'm sure you'll be pleased with them.. he uses lots of brown paper scrunched up wrapping to protect the plants in the box, so it's all recyclable.. no plastic, no polystyrene..
