@Mr. Vine Eye those don’t look a million miles away from last years new additions, odd choice

Yes I read Mr Manners wasn't able to that successfully.. pity, the result would have been interesting..

So if those photos are indicative of the roses - there's no new Munstead Wood.

    Was hoping for a red.

Not officially announced til Chelsea. So there won't be any bareroot orders this spring of the new roses. Only potted I guess.

That's a bit disappointing I were looking forward for the catalogue dropping through the letter box . I were hoping for another repeat rambling/climbing rose red a similar dark moody colour like munstead wood.

In the region of £38 incl postage and packaging for a new, untested potted rose? Yeah no...

There's a well known American breeder on another forum, that whenever I put up the new Austins, his usual quip is something like... ''another pink, another yellow, YAWN!''

I don't think he likes them too much..  he probably has a point though..

@Marlorena I think he does, is that 3 years in a row for a new yellow rose now?

Disappointing DA. Looks like the top one might be the reason Jude The Obscure was retired. Which strong pink was withdrawn?
