Ooo, I thought the rose companies only gave bare root discounts at the end of the season 😯. Are any other discounts likely to come along before Christmas, do you think? My garden group is doing a joint rose order sometime soon.

I am sure there will be others. DA has 15% off with GARDEN until the end of November.... TW still being better value than that even before taking 10% off, of course!

A gardening club sounds like fun!

It's very fun. We do a lot of plant and seed swaps and we help each other. I have wanted to make a video for years. 60 people in four roads - lots of brand new growers. We have a big bulb order coming. :)

Would anyone be able to offer any suggestions for a good rambler? I want an aggressive rose to cover a large wall. Some of them seem to be repeat flowering but most once flowering. What are peoples thoughts on repeat flowering ramblers? Thanks

I'm not sure of an aggressive repeat flowering rambler. I am interested too.

Just remembered, the other DA rose was Crown Princess Margareta not the Queen of Sweden. I've also just remembered that stupidly I waved away the offer of a receipt for the stuff I bought, including the WC, totally forgetting about their 5 yr guarantee! I'm kicking myself.

Most of the repeat flowering ramblers seem to be smaller and not so world-domineering as the once bloomers, but what about Moonlight, both? I think you have this one already, Fire, but I’m pretty sure @Pete.8’s was fairly rampant?

Might be worth considering a once-bloomer for an aggressive large wall coverer @Alfie_ and planting some shorter repeat flowering climbers or shrubs either side if you have the space?
