A very good morning one and all. I cannot get used to getting up in the dark these days. At least it is looking lighter now. Gooing to make a brief SM dash before getting stuck into my cake baking. Hope that you all have great days.
    Busy have you packed yet?

    Morning all.

    Grey outside.

I haven't packed yet, LB. Only taking a small bag. I have all I need in my house and in OH's house. Not like going on holiday.

Knee was very painful in the night, slept badly.

Good morning everyone . Yesterday the district nurse came to do the dressings on OHs legs . What a  relief that was I have been doing the dressings 99%of the time . His legs are so heavy ,I have been really struggling .Nurse  says she will come again today and at some point OH  will be assessed to see if there is anything else he needs ( hand rails, etc) . OH is still in a lot of pain .We are getting our sleep when we can .
I hope everyone has a good day .

Back from 'sco! Loads of empty shelves especially in the cooked meats and yoghurts areas. Not to worry, I did get the few things that I needed which was good.
Glad to hear that you are enjoying your holiday Debs.
Busy, that is what is nice about going to Sis' caravan - its like home from home so we can go very minimalist.
Ruby, I am so pleased to hear that at last things seem to be progressing in obtaining assistance for your OH (and you of course!)
Sunny here SGL. By the way I checked on the NHS website
    On that page it states:

    COVID-19 booster vaccine

Some people may be eligible for both the flu and the COVID-19 booster vaccines.

If you are offered both vaccines, it's safe to have them at the same time.

  • @Busy-Lizzie sorry you're in such pain with your knee. Hope it eases soon.
@Rubee so glad you are getting help with dressing OH legs. And it eases things for you a little too. Hope you can have a restful day. Take care.
@Ladybird4 Glad you got everything you needed at SM. Its strange what things are not available at the moment.
I'll look on the website LB, but I still prefer to have vaccines separately.  I don't like the idea of stuff  in my body at anytime really.  But will look.

SGL I agree completely with what you are saying and everyone has that choice. Just wanted to let you know that there was no reason to worry.
Busy, I sometimes wish we could just squirt a certain cleanser and degreaser into our joints to get them all going again.
