    Just watched the closing of the Commonwealth Games … goodness me, Ozzy Osbourne looked as if he had had intravenous caffeine then was plugged into a generator … I know that’s the intended look, but never has it been so successful as tonight. He sounded ok tho’ … not great but a ‘Good OK’ … and I was glad to see the surprise act was him … I’d had an awful feeling it was going to be Duran Duran 😱

    Sad to hear about Olivia Newton John,  Judith Durham died on Friday.  😢

    I hadn't heard about Olivia. Only just turned the Tele on. Very sorry to hear that. Our TV has been full of Judith Durham for the last week, so I suppose this news will take her place now. They are having a State funeral for Judith. How many can they have?

    Good morning.

    Another bright sparkling day and a little cooler last night - 20°.5°C.  That will all change by midday.

    First Judith Durham and now Olivia Newton-John.  RIP.  2 great voices from Straya.

    @Busy-Lizzie   When my doctor retired, it was very very difficult to find another.  I finally did and he left after a year.  Luckily, he was within a centre of 3 doctors so he other 2 doctors have taken on his patients.  First thing up - a blood test.

    Skipping off for a jaunty cool walk with the dog before doing a little gardening in the veggie patch.  Typing up and cutting off tomato plants this morning.

    Beautiful day, lots of watering and feeding to be done.
