I'm hoping for rain soon, the garden is looking a bit sad. On the news last night they mentioned hosepipe bans in Sussex next week. I might have to give it a good soaking over the next couple of days. Have a lovely day everyone
LB I will be doing a bit of gardening . Saving painting for cooler weather..Lily OH is still uncomfortable . He has fallen so many times it takes time for him to feel better .

Will get into the garden once I've fired off a few grumpy e-mails After my first ever correspondence with Points of View, my MP will be receiving a 3rd missive from me (chasing a response to the first two!!). Energy company (sorry to mention that again, folks) and pension company are also on the hit list. Bit of a grumpy, moaning, old dinosaur today. Oh well - if the cap fits
He's ok thank you @Rubee but gets tired, especially in this hot weather. Just got back from having OH haircut. He's a bit tired after the walk there and back, so having a lie down. He never complains, but it must be hard not being as active as he was. He loved his golf.
Good evening everyone. Well it has been another funny sort of a day today. Haven't really shifted much since the bins were emptied and I wasn't able to cut my hedge as I had planned because r**n stopped play. I have spent a couple of hours sorting out a new, upgraded Hive hub and mini thermostat - other heating controls are available - as their systems were down and the young man who dealt with all my enquiries fell over backwards (Ante = tried as hard as he possibly could) to get it all sorted for me. I have to say I am most impressed with him and it restores my faith that in some large organisations there are still real live human beings instead of Autobots!
