    Yes, I am really  enjoying Matilda this year and will certainly plant more (in bigger pots).

    Thanks to @Hostafan1 who first mentioned it some years ago.

    The easiest way to multiply is probably to take tuber cuttings (a growing eye for each cutting)  but there are other ways.

    Try looking up, stem tip cuttings, from new growth, in shallow planted Dahlias. IMO this is the easiest method, and some people swear that it gives better flowers, than those from older tubers.

    Some of my dahlias are late-starters; just in time for the frost and slugs to demolish them. 😞

    Edited to add: the varieties are Bishop of Leicester and Seattle.
    Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)
