Shame you couldn't taste the chish & fips, they do usually taste much better at the coast. We enjoyed visiting the 2 gardens yesterday, one very flowery and pretty, the other a chateau garden, very formal.
Getting very hot here. I see next Sunday will be 41° That's when grandson will be having his 1st Holy Communion. Son 2 mentioned a BBQ, maybe he will change his mind. Think I would choose iced Vichyssoise and salmon salad, then ice cream.
I'll weed the terrace bed then we (OH) are going to hang some pictures. I haven't unpacked them all yet as I'm hopeless with screws into stone walls.

Afternoon everyone, It's schorchio here. It's 38° in the conservatory.....the barometer is on a shelf in the shade 🥵🥵 Have been sitting under the oak tree, but have come in for awhile. Forecast is for July to be this hot and all change for August. I'm going to make the most of this weather while it's here, but being sensible too. @Songbird-1 have a relaxing afternoon, you and OH have been very busy lately. @Busy-Lizzie beautiful photos, thank you for sharing. Hope it cools down for your grandsons communion. Take it easy in the garden, rather hot today to do much.
Well I never thought that I would say this but it is going overcast here (and at my Bestie's she tells me). It has definitely made things much more comfortable.

I like the formal garden......as long as it had flower beds in other parts of the garden 😉 The large pool looks very inviting, wouldn't mind swimming in there at the moment 🏊♀️ Still lovely and warm, we're back out in the garden, with a lovely cup of tea. Having a salad tonight, far too hot to have the oven on 😉🤣 that's my excuse anyway. Hope you've all had a lovely day
