Good Morning SGL, Busy, Rubee, Hazel & Ante,
SGL If it’s just for the one day i’d best get started 🍫😋
Rubee I hope your fuchsia rallies with the extra watering,
Hazel That paint smell is overpowering, good idea to take a day for other things before continuing tomorrow, will be nice to see son & 23 later 🤗
Ante Glad your sister arrived safely, will she be helping you tend your crops at the cottage? have a lovely catch up together,
The news has been a long time coming, I think it will be a long time going too.
Quick cuppa then I’ll be off for fun & games, have a nice afternoon everyone.

Here in France I'm an hour ahead of the UK @Ante1.

I learnt about Boris resigning at the Gardening Club meeting.

I enjoyed the meeting. There was a quiz, 6 teams of 4, drawn out of a bucket. My team won, bottle of wine each. We had lunch sitting outside by the river and I met some new people. Someone gave me a yellow and orange day lily. People had brought in plants to give away.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Hello all hope everyone’s okay, haven’t had chance to read back.  Had a migraine for a couple of days but enjoying the lovely sunshine here.  Watching the tennis, best regards to all.

Evening everyone, lovely afternoon the sun came out,
@wfnp5bk4spsSNFYKh1 Hello Rosie, sorry to hear you’ve had a migraine how awful, enjoy watching the tennis and I hope it eases away soon 🌸
Hazel Good that the SM was a nice experience today with people being considerate wearing masks. Hope your wet things have dried well,
Busy Glad you enjoyed the gardening  club meeting, well done on the quiz 👏 sounds like a really nice get together,
Spent some time in the garden pottering about, time to start dinner have a nice evening everyone.

Good afternoon everyone. World Chocolate Day - infinitely more attractive than Mechanical Pencil day!
SGL sorry to hear that you had a rubbish night again. I do hope that you will get a better sleep tonight.
Chive, it was extremely busy at the Food Bank this morning we had 8 clients to look after. Our cupboards - after being so full first thing after the collections last week were almost empty again. In fact the coordinator had to go out and buy some food so we could fulfill all the requirements. Bestie and I were shattered.
Ruby, fingers crossed your droopy fuchsia perks up for you. I know it won't be for lack of TLC.
Ante, it must be lovely to have your sister visit and stay over with you. Does she spoil you by making meals and helping at the cottage?
Hazel, how is your carpet looking now? It is good to have a break from the paint fumes.
Busy, I like the sound of your quiz. Taking plants along to pass on to others is such a lovely idea.
Good to see you Rosie. We were all wondering where you were. I hope the migraine has gone now and that you are enjoying the tennis as much as I am.
p.s. handy brother rang. Sad news about Percy the pigeon who passed away today. Handy brother's neighbour was quite sad as she had been looking after it so carefully. He buried him/her for his neighbour and she insisted he place a slab over the grave (temporarily) as she thought something might dig it up! Bless her.

    Good evening my friends.

I have great news, it's finally raining. Proper rain, and after weeks of boiling hot weather tonight is only 22℃. 🥳🥳

LB, she will definitely cook, but working at cottage... I will not bet on that. She is on holiday and I'll let her enjoy in summer and sea.

It will be much more comfortable for sleeping tonight.
I am sorry to hear that Rafa has had to withdraw from Wimbledon. I was supposed to be going to Canasta tomorrow but I've decided that I'll cancel this time as there will be some good tennis on - especially Cam Norrie. Ante I was watching two of your countrymen Mektik and Pavic playing today. Their match went on to iPlayer as they are showing the mixed doubles final now.

Hazel can't you claim on your house insurance.  I've claimed before for paint spillage and they replaced the whole carpet.
