A very good morning Biglad, Rosie and all to follow.
T'Bird, thanks again for such gorgeous pictures to wake up to! Enjoy your trip out today to take a close look at the glacier. I have just one word for you viewing all those big lumps of ice - Titanic!
Ante, there was nothing I wanted to watch on TV last night so I had a nice evening burying my head in a book.
Rosie, I've got my tea too - nectar of the Gods!
Hazel, I will let everyone know who Jack wants the CD for. I'm dying of curiosity too!
I have to say that I saw Lily in a whole new light yesterday. I knew that she didn't even like her own brother who was sadly lost after about 1 year of them moving in with me. She tolerated him. She is a right little tiger! I view her with a new respect now. For an old lady she is still feisty!
Busy and SGL, I hope I get a storm like you had yesterday. I love watching and listening to thunderstorms. It is actually looking as if I might have a storm here this morning.
I'm not visiting today as sis and bro-in-law are in London - they were at the rugby match at Twickenham yesterday and handy brother is only returning from the Lakes later on. Hoping to get some sorting out in the GH done.

Good morning Biglad, Rosie, LB and all to follow.

Hazel, my mum is almost three weeks in retirement and she will need much more time to get used to it. She is still in working mode (gets up early).

LB, tv program was absolutely disaster last night, so I read a bit. Have a nice time in the garden.

Sunny and warm Sunday morning. I'll go later to SM, luckily it's only 100 m away. Now is time for tea and rest a bit after sleeping 😂.

    Have a lovely Sunday.

LB, that's actually a joke about people from Montenegro. They are famous about laziness and even have a competition in it. You can google it.

    Here is one article 😁

    Morning everyone,
@Busy-Lizzie safe journey home to France.
@Songbird-1 we had a lovely day with the poppets. We were lucky with the weather during the day, sat in the garden and their Daddy did a BBQ. Girls played in the paddling pool.  It clouded over around 5 but was still warm. But boy did it rain last night, the lightning lit up the room.
I love watching it too @Ladybird4
Grass is absolutely soaked this morning, but sun is trying to peek through the clouds at the moment.
Time for another cup of tea, anyone else like one ☕☕☕☕

    Morning all.

Thank you for your good wishes for our journey. Just a few things left to pack. I must put my handbag stuff into my new handbag that OH bought me early for my birthday in September.

    Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning everyone slow start today, Happy Fathers Day to all the dads 🍺
LB Good on Lily she really told that cheeky cat off 😼 Just waiting with baited breath now to see who the lucky recipient is for the CD 😀 Enjoy time in the garden,
Topbird What an experience to see those glaciers up close, the hybrid boat sounds ideal for minimal disturbance of the environment,
Rosie It was nice to see your mum & dad yesterday and I hope the try of the revitive helped, wishing your dad has a lovely Father’s Day today.
Rubee I hope you’ve had a good night, sorry you lost a long post it’s so disappointing,
SGL Sounds like a lovely day spent with the poppets yesterday with BBQ & paddling pools the weather was perfect. Wow that storm was phenomenal I’ve never seen so much lightning!
Hazel I hope you & OH are feeling more rested and can sit the garden to enjoy all your hard work,
Busy Safe journey back to France, it’s nice to break it up with family stop overs on the way, hope all is well at the cottage when you arrive,
Ante Good to hear you’ve only 2 days left to go at school, hope you have a successful trip to the SM after a nice rest 😊
Not sure what to do today yet, need another cuppa to help decide. Have a lovely day everyone.

Good afternoon all. Well I got the rain but without the spectacular thunderstorm I was half hoping for - and its cold!
Ante, I had a look at that link and it did make me laugh! I think I will enter Lily for the next lazy Olympics. I think she would win gold - unless of course another cat showed up!
I rang Jack to let him know I had bought the CD for him as I know he might ask other people to try and get it and I didn't want him to be at the receiving end of several CDs. I asked him who it was for and it turns out it is for Jackie, his daughter, so, of course, he couldn't ask her to get it for him as it is going to be a lovely surprise. Hope it does arrive this week.

  • Great final at Queens, both played well.  I’ll say no more.  Popped to see Rubee and oh this morning and then back for the tennis.   Hope you’ve all had a good afternoon.  A little sunshine.
