    Some more apples picked and I'll putting them out on the driveway for passers-by to pick up 🙂
    Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

  • @eustace what apples are you putting out for people to take? With the lack of rain our apples are struggling and we have varities coming before others.

    Spunta, 2nd early 1x25ft row. I would normally have lifted them  weeks ago,  but the ground was too hard.

    @bertrand-mabel the apple varieties are Golden delicious, Worcester Pearmain (though they didn't get to the fully red skin colour this year) and Bramley. 
    As @purplerallim mentioned, they are ready much early this season.
