Just pulled the last of the Speedo Carrots, that makes a total of 10kg this season. I planted double the amount this year, but the results are better. Good size, good flavour and blanch well for the freezer. Beds now covered and put to rest for the winter 😴

Potatoes eaten within hours of harvesting are something else. Runner beans are so much easier to prepare when fresh and crisp.
