Here I rest my case. People from this group could easily out do this lot without breaking a sweat.

I always look forward to the posts in this thread and here are some more great looking moths.

Easy to see why you like The Black Arches.

I thought about bringing my moth trap to christen it at Knepp but a PITA without a car and with little signal to gave first clue what I’m looking at. Plenty of butterflies for me to look up instead.

This is one of my fav threads too. Book-worthy

This thread had been an education for me. Before this thread was started I had no idea that there were such beautiful moths (some excelling butterflies) and how many existed. I have always thought of moths as the little brown things that my Grandmother used to keep at bay with moth balls and her clothes always smelled of them.
Thanks @Jellyfire and @wild edges and anyone else involved and keep up the good work with all your wonderful photos. I have never seen one never mind taking a photo of one.  :)

Not strictly a trapping but, guarding the greenhouse, a Silver Y if I'm guessing correctly.

I found this on the back door this morning.  I think it is a mint moth aka  small purple and gold  aka Pyrausta aurata
