Glad you had a good trip to your MIL @Dovefromabove - and enjoy your trip away @punkdoc.
Just getting ready for my stewarding shift at the Jubilee exhibition at our local church. A spot of pottering when I get back I think - potting on cuttings and pinching back some seedlings.

    Have a good day @didyw
The tomatoes, squashes, cucumbers, and beans are all out on the terrace for a while ... I'll get them in when the sun passes over the house ... don't think they're ready for outdoor shade just yet ...

Good morning all,  good evening @Pat E, good morning @Dovefromabove 😀
The 24 hours of rain we had yesterday has finally passed!!! It was very much needed but I thought we had booked it for night times only!! So much to get on with and I was stuck indoors doing housework all day yesterday! Today will be different!

Hi folks,  A lovely sunny afternoon here although we had quite a bit of rain overnight.  I've been out in the garden helping next door replace some of the fence panels.  Moved quite a few pots around and cut back a large dead Clematis Montana.  Will wait to see if it sprouts again before getting something else to climb over the shed.  I will probably give a coat of paint too (that's the shed not the Montana).
I've had to plant my runner beans out as they were getting too large to keep in the greenhouse.  I'll just have to keep my eye on the weather.  Also planted a row of french beans in the raised bed and topped up the potato sacks.  The seedlings that took a tumble seem to be ok so hopefully I wont lose many of them.
Glad you enjoyed your visit to MIL @Dovefromabove
@punkdoc hope you have a good time
    Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Very sad to read that news ☹️

After a morning wandering round with a hosepipe trying to refresh our desert, I gave up and decided to enjoy the sunshine with a good book.  It’s set in Florence- getting me in the mood, coz this time next week that’s where we’ll be 🇮🇹
