Yes @punkdoc I know what you mean, we are much the same about Bovey Tracey in Devon.  In spite of the fact that Mum's and my brothers graves being there and Dad's ashes were scattered near his favourite spot on Dartmoor, we have only been a couple of times in the last 10years yet we used to go several times a year. Of course you know what hasn't helped in the last 2 years.

Charlie's exam went well, he said, bizarrely, the comprehension/translation piece he had to write about was set in Brighton - he was there on his school trip just a couple of weeks ago. 90 applicants, 30 places at the school, it's all fingers crossed now.

Morning all.   There’s been rain overnight, judging by the wet pavements out the window. Haven’t been out to check the rain gauge because there are two pairs of Roos out there enjoying eating the wet grass. The two joeys are very aware when I go to the window and ready poised to take off if I come out. 😁. I’ll let them enjoy it for a while before I venture out.

    Hi all

Nice to be home, looks lovely outside, need to go and check whether we have had any Deer damage, whilst we have been away, and then get everything in g/h watered.

    Morning Hosta.

Whooo!   They are beginning the ride up Mt Etna now. What a ride. We’re glued to the Tele now. Don’t want to miss any views.

    Good morning all!

Overcast this morning, but clement temperatures today....22°C/24°C.

Out for lunch with friends is on the agenda today.  The garden is growing very very slowly - and so are the weeds!

I hope you all have an enjoyable spring day.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Enjoy the views @Pat E  🚴 🚴 🚴
A gorgeous sunny morning here after yesterday’s constant drizzle … hope the garden’s ok @punkdoc … we’ve got a busy few days ahead … a trip down to Wonky to swap plants … I’m taking toms, squashes, courgettes and cucumbers to her and she’s got lots of stuff for us including some asparagus which she’s potted up for us but which need to be planted asap. So I’m going to need to get a couple of bags of manure and start our asparagus bed … as well as getting the beans planted out … plus we have a friend coming to stay for a few days next week (but he’s not quite sure when … ) … suddenly our social life is picking up again … we had thought we might get to @didyw ’s plant fair too … we’ll have to see how it goes …
