Geranium cambridge varieties now flowering well, usually until mid July.. I might need to thin out, they can get quite weedy.. Allium 'Mt. Everest' / Aquilegia 'Blue Barlow'.. I rather like this Iris flower, not everyone does on this particular variety, I think it's cute.. ...the conifer is 'Van Pelt's Blue..
Aquilegia 'Yellow Queen'.. Aubrieta 'Regado White', I love this aubrieta, as it fades to pale blue.. Penstemon 'Westminster Belle'.. Geranium 'Biokovo'.. Parahebe 'Avalanche' / Lithodora 'Grace Ward'.. Geranium x oxonianum 'Cream Chocolate' ..this rebounds quickly after a cut back and repeats flower until autumn..
Peony 'Buckeye Belle' has opened up this afternoon, I wish I had a whole bed of this..
Geranium cambridge varieties in full flow... loved by bees.. ..early colour on Imperator 'Red Baron'.. Nemesia 'Wisley Vanilla'.. wafting scent, nice to have a few pots of these.. Helianthemum 'Ben Ledi'.. Allium 'Mt. Everest'.. Cistus 'Thrive'.. flowers all summer.. Iris 'Benton Storrington'..
I've had Nimbus for several years @Marlorena. It's very pretty but I find it gets enormous! I'm considering whether to chop it back now, but I'm worried it might take the huff and not flower at all. In your drier part of the country it may stay more compact. I measured it one summer and it was several feet across, blocking a path too. But I can't bring myself to cut it back when it's in full bloom. I've divided it a couple of times but it still gets rather too much growth on it. Nice foliage and flower though.
