@Malorena I love the two Geraniums together think I will give that a go they can bully it out!
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

@marlorena because I’m still learning I have foolishly planted a tall geranium ( I didn’t realise there was such a thing as I have previously only had the ground cover types) in front of a Geum Mai tai and pretty much obscured it from view. One of them will have to be moved though I will probably leave it for autumn now. Which of them am I likely to have most success in moving ? I love the look of your borders.

    hiya.. thank you..

You could move either, but I find Geum's don't last long in my garden, they look good for one season, and not so good the following year, and then dwindle away to nothing.  I tend to buy them fresh each year if I want them to look their best.  Even ones I've divided don't look as good as a fresh one bought in or sown.   They have that reputation.

Geraniums are easy to move.. so, not a problem..
