    Morning all.
Ice on the roof of the conservatory at 6.20. grrrr.
This little chap had decided to take up residence on the pond over the last few days.

@Penny_Forthem  Oh!  What sad news - the loss of a loved pet is such a disaster!

Penny, sorry about your beautiful dog. Been through that myself, so I know what it feels like.  Hope you can feel better soon.

I'm so sorry @Penny_Forthem, so sad losing a loved pet.

Plumber has been, it was only a perished washer, I have water back!

    So sad @Penny_Forthem. (hugs).
Yay - you've got your water back @Busy-Lizzie!  You and @Dovefromabove have had a few anxious moments over the past few days.
We're off to a neighbouring town now to do some shopping and deliver some leaflets. Any maybe the garage there has diesel.  Fingers crossed as the car needs a bit of a run out - I've been doing too many v. short trips in it lately and the battery won't like that.

Bright and sunny here, 11C and a gentle breeze.  OH and I have been out to a couple of Bric à Bracs at Luçon in aid of a local social initiative.   The first was small tat and clothing and some ends of range so I bought 3 citronelle candles in glasses and some pearlised cotton for embroidery.  It's actually run by a local market gardening family who were also selling the first new potatoes of the season (polytunnel) and marigold seedlings amongst other herbs, seedlings and propagated cuttings.

Then to the next in a huge shed and full of amazing solid wood dining and kitchen tables all for just 30 or 35€, chests of drawers and dressers for the same price.  Chairs 5€.   Don't need any of that tho we did find 6 tall Bohemian crystal water glasses for 1€ each and a cherry stoner dooberry for 2€.

Home for a cooked breakfast with fresh bread  baked before going out.  Sowing and sewing this pm.  Want to start off some sunflowers and get a project ready for Monday's patch session.  Out all day tomorrow helping with preps for the garden club plant fair next Saturday.

How lucky to have all your problems before you leave @Busy-Lizzie !!   I might be tempted to turn off the water supply before leaving.   Have a good trip @D0rdogne_Damsel.  Expect Charlie to come home utterly exhausted and don't worry about the teachers.  They sign up for it as part of their job and have a good time themselves.

Hugs @Penny_Forthem.   Very upsetting for you.

@Hostafan1 feral cats may well go for a waterfowl but if it's too stupid to remember it has wings it deserves all it gets.

    they're not feral, they're "pets"
Maybe I should have the same attitude towards them? Just kill them for being stupid?
