I've been to vote for the next French President. There was a big queue. Tricky moment when they couldn't find my name on the list, woman hadn't looked properly.
Can you vote for yourself in France? ;)

Oh bother, the very right wing Marine le Pen has done very well in Dordogne.

Morning Forkers. Sunny so far, so I’ll get yesterday’s washing in by lunchtime. 🙄

we’ve a trip to town this afternoon, otherwise, just our normal day here.

Ok, washing is in, a few things had to be tumbled, and others draped on the inside drying rack, but at least the line is empty. Hubby went down to the garage and brought the car up prior to us going to town and announced it’s starting to rain.  Well!  Talk about lucky!

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ hello @Pat E great pictures, lovely colours. I got all the washing dry outside yesterday, including jeans 👖.  The forecast for today is dry and bright too, although we’ve a little high cloud at the moment. Todays jobs are to get a little piece of work underway in the studio … order a birthday present and sow the tomatoes. I’m trying to time it so they’ll be out of the propagator but not need a lot of attention when we go away for a few days after Easter Monday 🌱 🌱 🌱

    Hi all
    Another lovely day here.
Have just managed to book a treat for Moira’s bday later this month. We are going to Cambridge, dinner at Midsummer House, a visit to the Hockney exhibition and a trip to the botanical gardens ( well that’s for me ) Don’t tell her, it’s a surprise.

We love Cambridge Botanical Gardens @punkdoc ... the glasshouses especially ... and last time we were there (a few years ago now) the coffee in their café was particularly good ... hope it still is ... and Daniel Clifford and David Hockney ... now that is a phenomenal pairing  .... a really marvellous treat.

  • I visited Cambridge Botanical Gardens @punkdoc @Dovefromabove early this winter ( early/mid Jan ) when visiting friends in the area. Glasshouses were incredible , and for me (first time visitor) even in the depths of winter I really enjoyed seeing the structure of the trees and found the whole place wonderfully educational and interesting even for the not-that-interested-in-plants section of our group!
Kindness is always the right choice.
