We might try Compton Acres on Friday,  we have to go home that day but we don't want to start early home to avoid the traffic. We are hoping if we go late afternoon,  then everyone else will have got where they are going by then .

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
it’s a beautiful morning here in Norfolk … the oak tree across the rise is a hazy green 😊

Hi everyone. We’ve had a fine coolish day and all the trees and shrubs are turning. Lovely. 👏👏

One of the car parks in town has some lovely elms and they are becoming yellow.

It was terribly crowded in town today. As well as locals panicking because of a 4 day holiday coming up, there were lots of visitors with caravans and winabagos.  Everywhere we went there were waiting lines - especially in Aldi. Amazing for our little town. 😳

Looking forward to a flowery day out 🌷🌷🌷🌷.  I’m going (with a group of friends) to an open day at Sarah Raven’s Perch Hill farm.  Meeting for lunch first, and its a two hour drive, so best get a wiggle on.  Hoping to see a good display of her signature tulip combinations.  Our tulips are just getting going here, so hopefully the timing will be right 🤞🏻

Hope everyone else has a fun Thursday 👒

Aren't the autumn colours beautiful @Pat E ... I love autumn ... but I'm very happy that it's springtime here right now ... last year it seemed autumnal almost all summer  :/

The locksmith says that he's going to pick up the new handles for our big siding studio door this morning, then he'll give us a ring and come over ......... we've got some shopping to do so we'll drive down to W'rose in a few minutes and do that quickly ... don't want to not be here when he phones.

Morning Dove.  Yes, I’m enjoying the colours while they’re there.

    Morning all.

Lucky you, @chicky, I hope you have a great time and can send some photos.

Sun is shining. No real plans apart from an SM. I shall relax after my long journey.

    Hi all

Lovely day here, have sent the under gardener out to start, whilst I cogitate.
In my defence, I have already checked all the Lillies and fritillaries and murdered the first L. beetles.

    Morning all,

Envious of your trip @chicky, hope the tulips are looking lovely. Mine are nearly all out.

That must have been a very long trip @Busy-Lizzie, nice to be able to relax now. A good pub lunch perhaps?

It's cloudy but warm here. I'm just about to drive OH into town to meet his old work colleagues - they have a Maundy Thursday tradition dating back to when they all moved from London to Bath. Then I'm planning to weed the front garden - again, whilst waiting for a large SM delivery. My daughter's coming up tomorrow for the holiday so have to plan vegetarian meals. Looking forward to seeing her, think it was Christmas when we last met.

The really good news is that I have been excused jury service - I am so relieved as I have been very worried about how I would cope and it's been keeping me awake at night. I know it's my civic duty and all that but couldn't contemplate it at my age.

    Morning all.
Grey, but wind free and not too cold. Not bad for April.
