    @Hostafan1 you can't seriously tell me you find those things attractive!
    They're not at their best in April, but neither are many other plants, Roses for example.

    I'm as happy to have them in my garden as you are happy to have cats and dogs in yours and bananas give me massive pleasure through the summer and need no input from me . ( and I never have to deal with piss and shit )

    @Hostafan1 Nor do I.

    To be fair, my cannas are looking a bit ropey at the mo but not on the scale of any local bananas that spend winter outside or ones that have to be wrapped up and/or carted indoors k-like UK plants.

    The great thing about gardening, is that we all like different things.

    Did anyone see the David Attenborough programme tonight, quite brilliant, worth the license fee on its own.

    Yes, it was very good wasn't it. Missed the last 5 minutes because a friend rang.

    Morning all.  Cloudy and cool, but hoping for some warmth on the veranda before long.

    Hosta, Pixel only ever does her business in the tray provided for her in the laundry. We have a laugh when she urgently needs to come inside and heads straight for the tray.😂😂

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    what a beautiful morning … a misty blue sky, and a distant crow cawing in the stillness …

    Good morning all!

    Cool breeze blowing but looking to be another hot muggy day!  Nice for the BBQs being Easter weekend.  This heat has surprised everyone, I think.

    Painting the last side of the wooden shutters and the fittings and that, should do it!

    Happy Easter to everyone!

    Hi all

    Beautiful day here too.

    Still thinking about the Attenborough programme, possibly the best thing I can remember on TV for a long time.

    Wow!  I’ve just seen the moon rising above the hills. Very round and bright.
