    Good day everyone.

Today is a bit grey and it might rain. I recovered of yesterday's work and feel quite well. All my carrots, beets and sweet corn are sowed, and field for pumpkins, squashes and courgettes is prepared. It was lovely sunny day. I noticed that all fruit trees are packed with flowers, and we don't expect any more frost, so it could be very fruitful year.

    Pear and cherry tree blossom.

Hello all. Well it has mizzled and drizzled all day today so I was confined to mostly working in the garage and GH. I did manage to plant some camassias into the back garden. I've a huge clump in the front garden so I want to spread them around a bit. I've loaded a small water butt that I got as a bargain from United Utilities into the boot of my car. I had intended to site this by my shed but as that is going to come down, I am giving it to handy brother. I've also got a nice healthy Rhapsody in Blue rose for him - should complement his Just Joey rose. I'm taking them down to his bungalow tomorrow morning. Looking forward to seeing his new shed too.
Ante, that blossom looks lovely and healthy. Fingers crossed you don't get any more severe weather and that you have an excellent crop of pears and cherries - before the wasps and birds get to them! No school tomorrow Ante - bet you have a smile on your face!

    Evening everyone,
We had a lovely day with the poppets and their Mummys  and Daddys. We had a walk to the woods and duck pond then back for lunch. Played indoors in the afternoon as it rained all afternoon. Shame they couldn't play outside, but the garden certainly needed it.  Lots of fun anyway and lovely to see them all.

Have a lovely day tomorrow with 23 @Songbird-1
@Ante1 the blossom looks so pretty. Sounds like you've had a busy day, hope you've had a restful evening.
@Ladybird4 sounds like you've been busy too. Have a lovely day with handy brother tomorrow. I'm sure he'll love the new rose and the use of a water butt.

Night night everyone, sleep well and sweet dreams

Oops @Rubee you weren't there just now, night night
  • Ante lovely pictures, well done with all your endeavours.  I found my watch, it’s 28 years old, and I bought it on the plane returning from Crete many years ago.  I had the battery replaced this morning, £17 for a lifetime guarantee service.  Good service from Mimpsons.  Goodnight everyone, sleep well.  I spent £7 this evening on a brand new dress with tags direct from the store via eDay which gives you the opportunity to get a quality item for much less.

I hope that all your happy plans for today are fulfilled.
SGL, what a precious day you had yesterday. Such fun!
Hazel, 23 will be delighted to explore the new addition to the garden. I hope that the weather allows him some time to try out the new bench.
T'Bird, last minute loose ends tied up and a good soaking of the new clemmies and roses before the holiday?
RosieBB, I am so pleased to hear you have found your watch and you've bought another dress! You are preparing for the summer. I haven't worn a dress or skirt for over 5 years. I live in jeans or gardening scruff - joggers and sweatshirts.
It is very misty, moisty here this morning but my drive to handy brother's won't be badly affected.
