Chive, I think you might be lucky today with the wet cloth things.
Morning Ruby, I expect everything at the garden centre will tempt me - as long as I don't forget the compost!

Hello all ... hope everyone's feeling at least moderately rested.  It's definitely on the cool side here in Norfolk ... think it's an indoors sort of day.  Bread's proving already so it won't be long before I can head for the studio ... if there's room for me among the tomato and squash plants  :open_mouth:
Have a good day everyone  :)

Hi all, not had time to read back but hope all are well?
Cloudy here so made a pie for tea and a bread and butter pudding with a hot cross brioche son picked up very cheaply from work. Double cream and 8eggs so hope it’s nice.
Work in a bit. Hoping for a nice day to garden tomorrow, another walk planned first then out in the evening to see Downton Abbey film with youngest daughter.
Plants bought for hanging baskets are being hardened off.

    Morning all.

We've booked to see the Downton Abbey film next week.

Enjoy the GC, LB, and spending time with your besties, of course.

It's cold and grey here. Still no rain. BBC forecast said Norfolk is the coldest, cloudiest place in the UK today.

We really enjoyed "Blithe Spirit" last night. Well acted and good stage set. The village hall was full. They even served wine, beer, soft drinks and ice creams in the interval. I had ice cream, OH had wine. I was driving.

Afternoon everyone,  sunny on and off here and  a bit of a chilly breeze.
Have hosed the front and back garden, really needed it.
Have a lovely evening at the cinema @debs64 Love Downton Abbey.
I'm looking forward to Downton coming out on DVD too @Songbird-1
Not really a fan of cinemas anymore, even before Covid. I would more often than not get someone tall in front of me or they chatted most of the time 🤦‍♀️
Hope you find a favorite spot for your bench Hazel.
Your evening sounds lovely @Busy-Lizzie think I'd have had icecream 🍧 too yum yum 😋
Hope your wet things have dried @Chivetalking

Waiting for food delivery due around 3......I wonder if everything turns up as its Bank holiday weekend. 🤔

@Chivetalking lovely that you could spend some time with your mum. I bet she loved seeing you and appreciated you doing the unmentionables 🤫😉 Glad your wet things were dry. Have a lovely evening, it's chilly here too, we've popped the heating on for awhile.
Everything arrived in the food delivery 👍
@Topbird only a few more sleeps and you'll be on your Hollibobs 🌞🍹
@debs64 meant to say the Pudding sounds delicious 😋😋
@Rubee glad you got all your gardening done.
@Ladybird4 how many plants jumped in with the compost 🤭
  • Hope you’ve all enjoyed the sunshine and warmer weather this afternoon.  I had a few hours rest round at Rubees and came home and had a late lunch and then spruced in the bathroom and now in jimjams.  Alfie has eaten a hole in new curtains, he is a monkey, and I’ve sprayed them and he seems to be leaving them alone for now.  He didn’t do that with the old chenille curtains but thought he’d chew on these.  I’m very fond of them so leaving them up and hope he behaves himself.  He’s also chewed a whole in the door curtain but that’s been like that sometime now.  Thankfully he hasn’t been too bad today apart from a hairball.  Chive hope you’ve had a good day with the young ones.  Is your son still doing his course or is that completed now?  LB a great day for gardening.  Hope you enjoyed your time with bestie.  Lily hope you’ve enjoyed your day.  If it warms up we can wear some summery clothes.  Busy and Debs I love Downton and Maggie Smith.  I’m sure you’ll enjoy the film.
