    Good morning to all.

LB, how adorable 😊. Love to see Lily watching her tv.

Monday, school again, and of course it's sunny. But I can't complain because we have sun yesterday afternoon, and I was in the garden a bit. Also had an unexpected visit last evening which took me couple of hours.
Now is time for tea, and after school visit to cottage. It will be plenty of work to do.

Have a nice day and see you all later.

SGL, you got it in one! And what's more it went straight back onto the bed at the end of the day. I can't do that very often.
Hazel, I smiled at your description of the noise made by your new kettle. The 21st Century version of a whistling kettle possibly?
Ante, I hope that the sun stays all day for you today and that you manage to get work done at the cottage later - something to look forward to.
RosieBB, its good to hear Alfie has found a food he likes. Lily is a complete nightmare. I still haven't found a wet food that she will demolish in one go. I keep trying.

Good morning Ruby. I will definitely be going into the garden today. Its a bit nippy at the moment but looking good with blue skies - the odd fluffy white clouds - and sunshine. Just having my second cuppa and then I'll be getting a wriggle on. I don't think I need to ask you if you are gardening Ruby!

    Morning all.

Glad your picnic bench set has come, Hazel. Is it the wooden table sort with bench seating?

Plumber is coming soon. The ball cock in the water tank needs replacing. The overflow pipe keeps leaking onto the path which makes it slippery.

I thought the squirrels in the garden were cute and I enjoy watching them. I may be changing my mind. I saw one this morning eating something bushy. Turned out to be my favourite heuchera. Wretched squirrel had dug it up, bits of nibbled roots on the lawn. It ran off with the bulk of the plant. I've re-planted the bits of root, fingers crossed.

Busy my mum had that problem .The water flooded the area just outside her back door . It was quite slippery . I hope it’s been sorted .We love squirrels but we don’t want them eating our plants .
We had one that visited regularly it was grey but had a few red patches .It would run up the house and then along the terrace hanging on to the pebbledash. Our cats would be trying to get at it .Fortunately we have an enclosed cat run and they can’t get out .Hazel how is the bench fixing going ?What a lovely day . Been in the garden most of the morning .Will be going out again when I have had a rest .

Afternoon all,  Another nice day here, plenty of sunshine.  Mind you we could do with some rain.  Never satisfied are we.  Did quite a bit of on-line shopping this morning.  Have a busy weekend coming up Johah's 6th birthday part on Sunday and I'm making a cake so that Saturday taken up.  After the birthday party we are all off to my nieces in Shrewsbury as they have organised a family party so we are all staying at a local hotel.  Have ordered a couple of new dresses and then decided I hadn't the right shoes to wear so ordered a pair to try on.  Normally don't order shoes on-line but I really didn't fancy going to Merry Hell so if they don't fit I'll have to have a rethink.

Have had to pot on my runner beans as it's too early to plant them outside but they have grown enormous.  Some of the stems kinked during the process and I'm wondering whether they will be OK or whether to sow some more.  What do you think.  I'm also wondering whether to plant my peas outside as they are getting quite big.  Wouldn't mind but I sowed them later than last year.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day whatever you are up to.
