TBird and Busy, clemmies are a favourite in this house .I canāt show OH a pic of one I havenāt seen before and he is on the iPad looking for it.TBird knows our love of them .I guess itās a good plant to love when you have a small garden like we have . I have planted the ones Rosie gave me for Motherās Day.Had a lovely day in the garden. Lots of jobs done . Love plant nurseries. We have a lovely one down the road from us .They sell everything from large mature trees down to bedding plants .I hope everyone is enjoying the sun . Hazel I hope you are feeling better soon.
Itās ok @Busy-Lizzie ⦠different styles of houses suit different decors. Your lovely cottage home really suits your lovely cosy soft furnishings. Ā Our home is much more contemporary in style ⦠we have really big windows and slatted wooden blinds. Curtains would just look wrong. šĀ

Good evening all. What a pleasant day today for you and your OH Busy. I wonder if you will get special treatment when you next order a Chinese meal?
Good to see you back Hazel. I hope that the dental problem was sorted easily and that you will be able to make that journey to see your Mum soon. Hope you get some decent weather soon so you can enjoy your new picnic bench.
I am a big fan of clemmies too and I have that one you mentioned Busy. Its very reliable.
I managed to get a lot done in the garden today. I dug out the viburnum at the back of the shed which had died due to the flooding down there. That took quite a while. I planted my Rodgersia and my Ligularia in the boggy soil - it was still wet despite the few dry days we have had - and a Hosta that was already in that border has suddenly put in an appearance. It looks lovely so far, I'll have to keep an eye out for slugs. Tomorrow I'll be planting several trollius too.

Ante Iām sorry to hear of cancelled celebrations. Ā LB just managed to duck Col TT, hope you enjoyed time in the garden. Ā Vac working well, came without instructions, must check on line for filter info, but very happy with it so far. Ā I havenāt even used the animal head and you wouldnāt believe all the fur. Ā Chive I ran out of energy teatimeish and had a sleep and just woken. Ā I needed that. Ā All washed and brushed and watching a Dennis Quaid film, curled up with Alfie. Ā Top bird And Lily I think rain is forecast so may save you watering, hopefully. Ā Busy I much prefer curtains too it makes a window cosy and homely. Ā Dove glad to hear you and oh are well. Hazel the new picnic bench sounds lovely and glad you enjoyed the gc. Ā Lily hope youāve taken yourself to bed now, sleep well everyone.
Good morning RosieBB and all later arrivals. I'll join you in a cup of tea. Looking forward to getting in the garden again today and - touch wood - I do not feel too stiff from my hard work digging out the dead viburnum. I think it might be a gentler day today. I am not visiting rellies.
