@Yviestevie So sorry your daughter had to go through that today and didn't get exactly what she was hoping for.  Hope you manage to get a good night's sleep after such a stressful day.

Night night everyone, hope we all sleep well.
  • Good morning all.  I’ve been up a while, washed and dressed.  I will need to go back to bed.  Time for tea.

Snoopy Wishes You Happy Thursday Friends
A very good morning RosieBB and all arriving later and a happy 96th birthday to H.M. the Queen.
T'Bird, I was so sorry to hear about your Aunt's passing and the fact that you will not be able to attend her funeral but these things, over which we have no control, do happen. Well done for all your garden graft too.
I had a really good sleep last night so am feeling a lot more like myself this morning. I'm meeting up with my sister and a friend at a local GC this morning so I'm looking forward to that. I wonder what will sneak into my basket!
Yvie, it sounds as though your daughter will have had a torrid time in court yesterday but as long as the outcome has helped her then so much the better.
p.s. RosieBB don't go back to bed yet - you've got dressed!

Beautiful sunshine here this morning.  Might play in the garden.
Happy birthday to H.M. the Queen.
It's my nephews birthday today too.
Glad you slept well LB and feel better this morning. Have fun at the GC. I'm sure you'll find something to pop in your basket. Hope you find cake too.

    Morning all,

Fell asleep in the comfy armchair last night and woke up about 3am. As my two laptops were still on either arm, I started working :o

Having a short break now for caffeine injection :p

I'm not aware it was particularly windy here last night but one pot in a sheltered corner was prone when I did the bin run earlier. As it contains the most expensive plant in my possession, I rushed over to tend to it as if it was an injured child :D No other evidence of any anything being wind-affected so I suspect foul (feline??) play.....

    Morning all.

What plant was that @Biglad? I hope it' OK.

We are going to the SM this morning, nearly out of milk.

This evening we are going to Henry V in the local town, live screening from the National Theatre.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    It's an aucuba japonica crotonifolia @Busy-Lizzie. Don't worry - I kissed it better :)

Good Morning Bluebells, LB, SGL, Biglad, Busy & Rubee and all to follow,
LB So pleased you had a good nights sleep and feel better for it, what a difference that makes. Have a lovely time today at the GC with your sister and a friend, hope a good few things sneak into your basket 🪴😊
Bluebells Hope you’ve got yourself settled after the early start, take things easy today,
SGL A very 🎉 Happy Birthday to your nephew 🎁🥳 Have fun playing in the garden today, tea & toast start the day off well 😊
Biglad Goodness early start for you straight to work 😳
Busy Have a great time this evening,
Yvie Sorry to hear your daughter had such a long day in court yesterday, I’m pleased some things have been settled for her though it was not the outcome she had hoped for. Hope your OH’s decision to stop teaching guitar makes things easier on him, the cost of running a car is expensive so that makes sense. Hope you had a good nights rest after such a stressful day,

    Have a good day everyone.

I've just had a 'gentle reminder' text and e-mail from B&Q to come and collect my order. They've just unwittingly upped the sarcasm/grump level when I do go and attempt to collect (for the second time) :o
