    Morning Graham  via @debs64
I feel your anger and pain. I too want to play outside, but am confined indoors doing unmentionables 🤦‍♀️  it's very chilly today and the forecast for the next few days aren't good. I'll see what I can do 🧙and hopefully we can both be outside in the sunshine very soon 🤞🤞
But eat your lovely meals that Debs gives you or you'll get poorly and won't be able to play outside. ☘☘☘

    Morning all,

Snowing here but only a light covering is sticking so I should be able to get up and down the hill if needed. Can't be bad if the bin wagon has come up this morning. It's not gardening in shorts weather though ;)

I worked until about 1am last night and had a dirty lie-in until 8.15 :o Should be a quieter day today as a result of yesterday's graft so will  be able to tend to domestic issues. Water (presumably) is dripping off the underside of the boiler, which I'm assuming isn't textbook! That's first on the list.

Oh dear @Biglad ... that was us this time last year ... we placed a gravel tray underneath it and called BG ... they came out and announced that Last Rites were the only option ... in July we had a new boiler ... must say it seems more efficient so there was a silver lining ... especially with what's happening to gas prices  :'(

    Good luck with that 🤞

Oh dear Big Lad . Water leaks are a worry I hope you haven’t any water damage .This morning the boiler engineer put the last new bit in our boiler .He said that should keep the boiler going for another five years .I hope we are not disappointed.

Our boiler is relatively new so I'll be very upset if it has already died :o

    Morning all.

    Grey outside, not so warm.

Don't know where the morning has gone. Phone calls etc. I'm going out this afternoon to buy birthday pressies for Son 2's wife and small daughter.

Ooooh that’s a different matter! @Biglad 😲… not good at all. Ours was probably pre-Minnellium at the very least 😉
Hope they can sort yours relatively painlessly. 🤞

  • Morning Graham via Debs I too feel your disgruntlement after happy times outside enjoying your water feature.  Let’s hope it’s not too long before you can venture out to play again.  Lily I am fully layered today as rather cool, no snow though, but raining ice this morning and continues to rain. Hazel how lovely to have a visit from your son today.  It will have been good to catch up. Biglad hopefully you’ll just need a replacement part for the boiler, fingers crossed.  LB I love the morning snoopy and Woodstock cartoon.  I hope all those venturing out stay warm and dry.

It's probably older than I first thought, d-fab but definitely still in single digits. The BG chap is booked in for Friday afternoon. As is a chap coming to look at the drainage in the back garden. I could get them mixed up and doing the wrong job in a 70s sitcom style :D

Best to have only one disrupted afternoon whilst working from home though. At least the boiler repair should be covered and not cost anything extra.

Good afternoon everyone - although I am not all together sure it has been good for everyone. Sorry to hear about the boiler trouble Biglad. A few Rezzers have had boiler problems over the last three years - maybe its contagious! Seriously though I hope that Ruby's problems are finally sorted and that BG get your boiler fixed on Friday.
It never got above 5°C on my car dash as I was driving to handy brother's. I only had to wait about an hour before the blind man arrived. It was miserable driving down - only rain though and no snow as yet - but Just Joey was looking quite perky.
Hazel, it will have been good to have a catch up with your son.
Busy, good luck in your pressie hunt.
