Maybe so @AnniD but I'd rather have longer and constructive judges' comments than faked/set up "biography" bits of celebs, designed to pull on heartstrings.

  • My OH is a lifetime supporter of Bradford City football club.  They have a rather good striker at present (Andy Cook) but presumably Anton didn't know that when he compared Hamza's lower half to that of a Bradford City striker...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • I wonder if we were spoilt last year with Giovanni and Rose. Lots of the couples this year are good but no one really stands out as a winner to me. There is still time however.

You are so right about Rose and Giovanni @GardenerSuze. This is one of my favourites

The fact she couldn't hear the music but was right on the beat was a testament to the partnership, the hard work, and their understanding of each other.
    A hard act to follow.
  • @AnniD I agree that is amazing great to see it again.Rose is off in another direction about to appear in As You Like It in London. She obviously loves a challenge.

The right decision in the dance off. Wonder if Kym will be back .

True about Rose - she was really good, very likeable, plus the professional pairing was excellent. The only one close to that combo for me is Hamza.

Much as I liked her - and love Johannes - it was definitely time for Ellie to go.  I think she knew it too.  I am rooting for Fleur now.  No idea why she keeps being in the dance-off.
