Anton only welled-up when giving feedback to one couple… they were the winning couple. I won’t do an overt spoiler, (although why would you be looking at this thread if you don’t want to know the result?) but the winner so deserved the title not just for amazing dances but also for attitude.
It was kind of a foregone conclusion, but the winner was my favourite throughout so I'm happy. Tbh I wouldn't have been unhappy with any of them, they genuinely deserved to be there. Really enjoyed the final.

I was underwhelmed by the show dances too. Early fumble in the foxtrot which was otherwise beautifully choreographed and danced. Not impressed by the others for either music or choreography.
Loved Helen's last dance. Great to see that again. better 2Nd time around and more memorable than Fleur's.
They would all have been worthy winners but my favourite won and I'm chuffed to bits - best attitude throughout and clearly loves dancing for its own sake.

I was disappointed with the show dances too. My favourite won and so very pleased they did. They all deserved to be in the finale, although it seems to change on how many couples are in it now. Used to be two, then it was three and one got voted out half way through the final. This year all four couples to the end. Great final though and really enjoyed it.
I'm sure Len would have been complaining about 'far too much faffing about, and too little dance content' on the PVC clad dancers. I do agree in general about the show dances being underwhelming. In the past there have been some truly spectacular routines. On the other hand, at least all the dancers do get to perform their show dance.
Enjoyed the final , the winner had a great attitude throughout , would have been happy if Helen won We must remember that it’s an entertainment / a TV show Looking forward to Christmas Special
Yes, if judged only on technique on the night but Hamza has heart, worked hard and clearly enjoyed every challenge. He never made a fuss or made it all about him which made him a refreshing change and a more attractive and pleasing dancer.

I must admit that l did enjoy watching "Strictly come dancing's greatest moments" on channel 5 (why not the BBC ?) last night. Granted there are far more "greatest moments" than they could possibly show. The somewhat grainy videos did make me nostalgic for the days when there was more of a traditional slant dance wise, but l suppose that's progress.
I would like to know what the breakdown of the viewers age demographic is, l think it would be quite interesting .
