Hamza did dance well and his performances were joyous.  You could see him enjoying it.  He is the only one with no performing experience so his improvement from day one was the best overall.   He wasn't the most athletic looking or sexy male celeb but he was warm and quiet and got on with it all without any fuss and he turned out to be light on his feet, responsive to criticism and advice and a very good dancer.  Winning combo.

I thought Helen's Cabaret dance was possibly the best dance of the series and am pleased she's regained confidence and self-belief but she was weaker in other dances.   Molly and Fleur were good but left me cold.  I didn't like Fleur's couple's choice - mechanical - and I do get heartily fed up of the "me me me" in nearly all the back stories.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I had a feeling that Helen was telling someone in particular what she thought of them in that dance this could be the reason it had so much feeling to it.

Strictly is more of a popularity contest than a dance competition.  The winner is the person who gains the most public votes.  The reason Fleur kept being in the bottom two is that she wasn't popular, for whatever reason, and not enough people voted for her.
I think it's valid to reward someone not from a dancing background (and not with a 'dancing physique') when they excel, even if a few of the others might technically just edge them out slightly.
As they love to say, 'it's about the journey' ;P

@Loxley Unfortunately however they may try to tweak the system to make it fairer, somebody would be screaming fix/racist/sexist/ageist/someotherist* (*delete as applicable)
