@Victoria Sponge Yesterday is new to me, it was a potted bargin from TW planted in March. At the moment it's about 40cm height and width and should get to 3 times that but the colour on my screen is pretty accurate. It was described as lilac pink and I think it should blend pretty well with the late summer perennials in that bed (coneflower, Joe pye weed ,sedum and asters) which are all those shades. At least ,that's the theory! The flowers are quite small but in clusters so should be more visible when it's in full bloom.
Some orange roses, sunshine Babylon eyes (new for me) , summer song and super Trouper. Sunshine Babylon eyes photo is true colour, the other two are looking more orange in photos than real.
Thank you, I look forward to seeing it grow up @Suesyn
P.S, yes that's a great photo of Shropshire Lad @newbie77. That Babylon Eyes is a bit fabulous too! I'm tempted to try a 'Eye' rose. JessicaS has one I like but I cannot remember the name. Apart from the 'eye' part.
Now in full flush, it starts to go over a bit in June, although it continues to flower for about 6 weeks, so these will be the last pics for this year of this rose... there's a lot to be said for once flowering roses, such a bold show.. 'Mme. Lauriol de Barny' [Bourbon, 1868 France] .. sweet damask scent.
I admit to feeling a bit sad that my arches have gone over already; peaked in April/early May. It's only now that I have got the garden in a state to frame them.
@cooldoc lady Hillingdon has a really unusually sweet scent, i.e icing sugar! Its a delicious scent. Id say medium strength, i poked my nose in rather than it wafting
Sweet syrie finally open. Smells wonderful Brother cadfael - next to syrie, wonderful wafting old rose fragrance. Wiltshire in a pot with summer bedding Glenfidditch. I swear the scent has a peaty whisky note! Dainty Bess... dainty it is not! Huge blooms with wickedly sharp thorns. Lovely scent. CPM, such immaculate blooms. Albertine at the back budding away still, more opening daily. Wedding day not showing colour yet.

Likewise rosa gallica, reliable and full of buds, but like Bonica, it gets bowed down by the weight of blooms..
It's amazing to see the roses in full bloom in all your gardens.
