    So ruffly and pretty, Suesyn.

Thanks very much for the reassurance about the little ladybird larvae upthread, Marlorena and Tack. An amazing illustration, Tack. I never thought larvae could look so cute.

@murasaki, Marlorena is of course right, first blooms aren’t always typical but those on my AB weren’t first blooms and it is in a location that only gets morning sun, so I thought it would be ok. Alas! No matter how much you research and think you have bought the right rose, sometimes you just don’t know how it’s going to behave in your climate until you try it.

@Marlorena, I wonder if you could let me know where you purchased your metal fences from please. I need to prop up my very vigorous 'Penvelope' which tends to flop forward from the wall when heavy with blooms. There is heavy duty wooden trellis fixed to the wall but the rose is so heavy, it was pulling the trellis away!

Many thanks, I have looked online but can't anything that looks as good as yours.

You have lovely, well chosen plants Edhelka. I was musing earlier about a TCL order and then just thought, nah I'll wait to see what Edhelka chooses.
Lol. I am honoured. But I am not sure if I am going to order anything from TCL this year. At the moment, I am trying to enjoy what I have, don't feel that drive to fill every available space (+ a ton of pots) with roses.

I am still waiting for this year's newbies to flower. 'Faustinia' is close.
