Can I indulge the group here for one final time on a rose ID please. It's a very delicate pink on white hue, which hopefully my phone pictures have managed to capture and is unscented
@Marlorena Could I ask please when you have time for any thoughts on the ID of this rose
The beautiful, fragrant, flat, quartered blooms of Charles de Mills. I have this one in a wild area of the garden so if it creates a thicket, that’s ok…
I'm fairly certain your rose is 'Pearl Drift'... the dark green glossy foliage and the blooms all match.. also the shrub habit.. I used to have it here..
Susan Williams-Ellis seems to have strengthened in its 3rd year. Last year the blooms were shattering quite easily whereas this season, she is staying upright even after the rain.
Palais Royale also retains its white blooms with a pinkish tint even after getting wet - no browning of petals either. Queen of Sweden is another one quite unfazed by the wet weather.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth

Alberic Barbier is not impressing so far, so I may have to choose something else to put on my arch. The tiny blooms open a dirty white that brown instantly. No rain for ages so can’t blame that and no sign of the pretty lemon tones I got in earlier cool weather:
Gloire de Ducher is still in it’s 6L pot but has nicely scented, upright blooms. It looks a strong grower and has already thrown out two new basals:
Lady Emma Hamilton being photo bombed by a floppy Golden Celebration octopus cane, both showing the typically paler colours I get. LEH needs yet another iron tonic:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
@Nollie .. do you have clg. Crimson Glory in your garden Nollie? or have you ever tried it? if not I wonder if it's one you might like to consider...?

They would have been better but it had been raining.

I quite like the paleness of your LEH @Nollie, I think it’s a lovely colour
Hoverfly on Roald Dahl this morningÂ
Wollerton Old Hall looking peachier than usual, must be all the cool weather last week
