Welcome @sarahlynch1. Smashing rose list, glad you have joined us.
Tuscany Alfred Colomb, one of my favourite roses. I was overjoyed with the fragrance last year and it is just as powerful this year. One of those cute Vapourer moth caterpillars on the floppy flower, you can just see the four yellow tufts View of Rambling Rosie over Westerland's withers. I've decided to keep W after all, seems churlish not to. It has put up quite a bit of new growth, just visible in the middle. The rest of the plant is out of sight to the left, it's long and thin like a dragon sneaking through the bed. Blush Noisette under a glowering sky. That chunk fell forwards in the winds. You can see the unattractive brown bits even after whacking it with a stick, but it does show how floriferous it is  Last year I just chopped at it with my long handled shears (and I might do again). Not sure how helpful this will be to @dabolem but this is 3rd year Parkdirecktor Riggers. It faces north east and gets a glimmer of sun from the east and a dappling later in the afternoon, but only at a certain height. I knew when I planted it that it wouldn't be an easy grow knowing it was in full shade until it got to about 4' high. I then hoped once it had its head in the light it would be ok. It has mildew on the new tips this year but a few of my roses have and they don't normally so perhaps a blip. You can also see in places how green and nice the foliage is normally. Another struggle for this poor rose is it is planted at a higher level than my neighbours garden and if I don't maintain a watering sump (I'm using play sand at the minute) around the base the water will just run away under the fence.
I like everything about Rose de Rescht. Its tidy form, greyish foliage (more greyish in real life than in the photo), colour of the flowers, and, above all, the fragrance.
A lot of rain here, it was raining on and off for 4 days, including some downpours. And more rain is probably coming next week.
@Nollie I think it depends on the HT. Some bloom in flushes, some almost always have some blooms but never many of them at the same time. For example on my favourite (no ID), I get a flush on the old canes, then shortly after a flush on new basals (this rose often produces new basals), and then after a short gap, the old canes rebloom. But the flushes aren't really comparable to a good shrub rose.
No updates on rose field from my side. I have fed everything now and waiting for the second flush…Â
But after 3 years! My agapanthus has decided to flower… it was on the shovelprune list to make space for eyes for you . So not sure if I need to be happy or sad 😉.
We had enormous amount of rain last week and this week it is too warm and humid..

Please, everyone, keep posting your rose photos. 😊
@Discandied RdeR is one of my favourites, though mine is quite young.
Photos of Darcey Bussel, Super Dorothy, unlabelled HT, Summer Song, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Brodure Abricot, for your pleasure 😇
And my prized amaryllis.
