Oh ok, I've not seen one like that before.. rather clever isn't it, quite artistic.. except the possibilities for suckering shoots are increased several times over...
I think I recall seeing this photo before so I should have remembered..  best of luck with it..

@Imprevu I grew Scentimental only for one season.. they are really nice when in bloom.. does not produce massive clusters like the typical floribundas.. takes a break between flowering.. lost all leaves and wound up early in autumn.. I had to retire it.. wondering if I should have given it one more year..

and my search for the perfect fragrant striped rose continues....

Temperatures went a little down here so some roses waked up with sparse blooms.

i am impressed by the healthiness of Lady Emma Hamilton, I though it were a rose prone to disease and it is also floriferous. Mine is in its first year and I am very happy with it so far.

Can someone who has had it for more years tell me how tall and large dos it get? Thank you!

Lovely roses you all, keep posting it, I need to decide which roses I am going to buy. This yearI will buy only bare root, because I don’t have a large budget and they cost so much less compared to potted ones.

    Thank you @cooldoc
Did you notice if the red is taking more over in sunnier position?

@Imprevu I did not notice that bit.. sounds interesting.. I used to love the various patterns/ stripes.. cannot make up our mind whether its red with white streaks or white with red streaks...

@dabolem mine is in 2nd year and so far has stayed very compact.. especially this year.. about 1 and half foot after pruning to about 15cms or so last winter..
