@Marlorena a decent garden centre in worcestershire somewhere with my parents, it was only £10 so I didnt mind a punt on it. Its really lovely, but I do think mislabelled as they had huge selection and all blooms look the same. All my bare roots are still tagged correctly at stem so not my end. I might order ascot anyway from styles but im definatley keeping whatever is is, just curious if any ideas.
Really like your mystery rose, Jessica. Some nightmarish thorns there, Allium.Â
Pitter Patter, your Harlow Carr is a knockout.
A question about weeping standards, if anyone can help: I got one bareroot from Styles, Perennial Blue, quite near the end of the bareroot season, just as an experiment really. I don't have a Monet umbrella, so I plan to use green string to train the plumes downwards as shown in this diagram from Peter Beales's Web site (the third pic).
If anyone's done this, when is the best time to begin this, please? I spent the weekend away from the garden, looked and it's suddenly taken off- I'm probably behind with tying in as it's all looking a bit like my husband's hair after the rain this morning!Â
Gorgeous roses @AlliumPurpleSensation you timed your visit perfectly! For the pinky bicolour I saw rosa mundi, crazy for you, and scentimental that looked similar depending on what the colour was like in person!

Two others I really liked.
It was nice to know they too have aphis and blackspot!
..that's nice, perhaps when there are more flowers open we can have another look..
@AlliumPurpleSensation
.. lucky you! it's a lovely day out..
I think the first two are 'Rosa mundi' and 'Blanche Moreau'..Â
The red climber could be Allen Chandler? It was grown over the entrance archway.
Some research needed I think
Thank youÂ
