@Omori wonderful roses! Your Comte de Chambord is fabolous, so full of blooms and very good foliage. Mine is a very poor thing, Ikeep hoping she will get well but not happening soon, I fear.

@dabolem Mine was really miserable at first, takes a while to settle in. And thank you!

@edhelka very nice garden and beautiful roses. I confess I never heard of California Poppies before entering this forum.
i like very much your Purple Skyliner, I cant seem to choose between PS and Perennial Blue. is she in full sun? How does she grow (fast, slow)? Is disease resistant?

@Omori thanks for the info, I hope my CdC will become as gorgeous as yours, lol. Do you prune it?

I like the colour of PS more than PB and it should also have a better repeat but I don't know because I don't grow PB.
PS has been a fast grower for me, vigorous and healthy.
Yes, it is in full sun, south-facing wall.

@dabolem I don’t prune it other than maybe a light haircut to shape it but it doesn’t need pruning in general.

I'm still debating on what rose for my new obelisk....so far torn between Madame Isaac Pereire and Gertrude Jekyll. Any thoughts on either please from those who have grown them

GJ has the stronger perfume IMO and is a good grower once it is established.
