Enough thread clutter from me for a bit, but one more post- I was relieved when PB kindly said they'd replace the rusty rose. The replacement arrived today.
Yes, on every remaining leaf, orange spots. Of course it isn't the end if the world, but if they're happy with it, why didn't they tell me to do one when I complained?

Sorry your HTs are really suffering @Eustace, it’s usually such a lovely display. The patio/walls/pot combination is a real killer in heat, roots can fry too, is there any way you could rig up some shade netting overhead to give them some temporary relief?
You would think PB would’ve removed those rusty older leaves before they infected the new growth, if your going to strip, do it properly!
