Just a note on acronyms. I have poured over the rose threads every day since they started - I'm interested and paying attention and yet I still forget what all the initials stand for. I'd put a vote in for a bit more of a clue than intials only. MH or MW means something to me, but not to many of the readers, with the best will in the world.

It's good to see 50,000 views of this fast moving thread in the last three months - a great resource and asset!
..just looking back on all the lovely roses today... I also like your Scent From Heaven @pitter-patter nice isn't it? and your Lilac Bouquet's on the arch looking splendid.. Leah Tutu is one I've had my eyes on for a while too..
.. I mean to say earlier about @Omori 'Mme I Pereire'.. lovely on the support which appears to be an old tree trunk?.. great way to grow a rose like this I think..
@Tack .. just going over your usual strong selection of roses, but I would keep an eye on your 'Artemis' as I'm struggling to see it as that rose.. Â
Someone has posted about 35 fabulous pictures of the DA stand at Chelsea on the public Facebook group "David Austin Roses," if anyone is interested. (Â https://www.facebook.com/groups/313936953538179/permalink/533516914913514/ ) Â Never been or likely to go, so interesting to me. I didn't know they included non-DA roses, like William Lobb. Bring Me Sunshine is looking gorgeous.
@Fire glad tea went well! I love victoria sponge cake. Mary Berrys recipie is my favourite Been playing with google photos collage to show a few from today. Todays newbies; Highgrove Ascot budding... although i was expecting a lot more petals, wonder if I mixed up labels with Fetzer Syrah also bare root... Belle du jour Various pretty budd including col. Mustard top left, mountbatten bottom right. CRown princess Margaritte, glenfidditch, CPM again, Natalija, L.of shalott, Lady hillingdon L-R; brother cadfael, albertine, cadfael again, purple tiger.
I had busy weekend with family and friends. Now catching up with the thread and photos. This thread is rose heaven.Â
@WhereAreMySecateurs, thanks for the Facebook link. Lots of lovely roses. I am little bit disappointed that bring me sunshine is yellow. Nevermind, I am looking forward to my eustacia vye (new for me) She is gorgeous.Â
I too have 'Belle de Jour' @JessicaS, it's in it's 2nd year now, in a pot,  and beginning to show why it was voted 'Rose of the Year'. I think the colour in my photo is slightly over the top, a bit more peachy than it actually is, but it is shaping up to be a beautiful rose...and all the blooms as yet face skywards...hallelujah.Â
My Belle du Jour is again over 5 ft tall, though I’ve pruned it to keep it more compact. Have I known this I would have planted it elsewhere. It’s quite healthy and has lots of buds; the colour on mine is mostly yellow with some orangey red on the buds.
edited: not exactly yellow, actually this morning it’s definitely peachy.
And since we’re touching on French subjects: here’s Joie de Vivre.Â
