Excellent episode really enjoyed it. I liked the idea of radish's in the tattie rows for a quick crop.

I loved the jungle garden I have a section but you don't walk through it. Funnily enough my new 6ft tree Fern arrived bang in the middle of that section, very late delivery but fantastic.

As a manic compost man I noticed Monty has set up new bins and done away with his steel sided system, funny I've changed out wood for steel.

All good stuff and Mrs wilderbeast has been buying more iris today after Nick bailey did his bit

First time in ages it held my attention.  I enjoyed all except the viewers videos but as the rest of the content was useful,  informative and interesting,  I really didn't mind,  it does at least give you an opportunity to put the kettle on 👍

It was a good episode. Definitely inspired to try more irises.

Re: tulips, the last time Monty posted tulips on Facebook was a fortnight ago, May 7 (he does post quite a lot so may have missed a more recent one, though). I think that was about when he came down with Covid.

    8pm tonight.

" Monty Don shows how to get the best from tomatoes planted in grow bags and demonstrates how to divide agapanthus, and we catch up on developments in the recently revamped dry garden.

Adam Frost shares the progress at his new plot and tackles planting in a shady border against a north-facing wall. Frances Tophill meets a couple in Worcestershire who’ve created a garden inspired by their travels around the world.

In Cornwall, we meet a window cleaner on a mission to champion trees, and more Gardeners’ World viewers share the joy that gardening brings them."

What a great guy the tree-planting window cleaner was on tonight's episode. His enthusiasm was fabulous.
He's the sort of person that should get an honour from the Queen.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Monty makes a real mess when he does anything? The bit tonight where he was planting tomatoes was a good example ... soil all over the place.

Spotty dotty?  Would have liked to know more about this plant!
I enjoyed it - not much else on tv this evening.

It's a Podophylum, @didyw. A lovely plant, I grow it in a very shady border.
