Looks like another early night for me, but , on a plus note, clocks change and I don't have to get up early, and it'll be light until almost 8pm tomorrow. Hurrah for that
Just spent a lovely evening watching the best of Elton John on the BBC, so easy to forget just how many songs he has done. Personally I love the early stuff, everything on Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

Morning all, early flying visit, very busy day ahead, lots of reservations for Mother's Day. And a group of 13 dog grooming students in for lunch too.
My holiday to Corfu has been cancelled by group agreement, too many chances of being put into isolation should anyone on the flight test positive, my friend has second home in Cornwall so they're planning on going there instead, I'm not sure I'll join them, not quite the holiday I wanted and as having time off work is precious don't want to waste it. Nothing against Cornwall, but the weather, the expense (other holiday all included and already paid for, 3 years ago actually) and staying in a private house rather than a hotel with all the facilities just doesn't appeal. Anyway, we're having a zoom call together on Tuesday.
Good day to all, hope to catch up later.
Ooh, quick pic of my cake, nearly forgot to take photo, customer was very pleased with it.

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ @WonkyWomble has made me smile and brought tears to my eyes this morning … a beautiful photograph of primroses in her garden, emailed to OH who printed it out on photographic paper and brought it to me with my coffee … so much more beautiful and meaningful to me than a card bought from a shop. When she was little she always picked me a bunch of primroses for Mothering Sunday ❤️
Aren’t they lovely…

When I was little and we lived at the Mill I remember sneaking out in the morning to walk down the lane, climbing in the ditches and up the banks to get handfuls of primroses for you!! Not a lot has changed really lol 🤣😘
