That's not what I was told.

The rain it raineth on the just
And also on the unjust fella
But chiefly on the just because

Why does it always rain on me, is it because I lied when I was 17?
How can you lie there and think of England

Probably @punkdoc 😉 … it’s OH’s theme song … it always starts when he gets his bike out 😆

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️ it’s a beautiful morning out there ☀️

    Morning ☀️☀️☀️

Beautiful here too - a touch of frost, the first for ages, but thats only to be expected now that the magnolia buds are beginning to peek their noses out 🙄

Had my first day at the CAB office yesterday.  Lovely people and a very buzzy atmosphere- I think I’m going to like it 😀😀😀

West Dean today.  First day back being part of the Thursday crew since I changed my days last September (it clashed with my college course).  Looking forward to catching up with the old gang.

Feeling a bit bleary eyed this morning as we went up to visit littlest Chicklet last night.  She had bought a flat pack wardrobe that needed her Dad’s advanced assembly skills 🤣.  The instructions were awful, I wouldn’t have been able to manage it ….and I can do the Ik&a ones no problem.  Then we went to a great Caribbean restaurant - rotis, jerk chicken and rice&peas 😋
  • Morning all,

Sounds like you're enjoying a busy retirement @chicky

Toying with making a cake for St. Patrick's Day but not keen on the idea of a green cake.

Nice to see the BBC news leading on a feel good story this morning.

Right, must get on, have a good day all.

    Love jerk chicken @chicky 😋
while I’m here in bed with my second ☕️ I can see a large magnolia covered with buds …. Norwich has lots of magnolias … there are some glorious ones down by the Cathedral Close … but as you say, so often the weather wreaks havoc with them just as they reach their peak … there are suggestions of a spell of warm weather coming up … perhaps we’ll be lucky 🤞

    Morning all.

A green cake with other decorations could be OK, better than a blue cake.

Adam cried when Mummy left but he's fine now. I'm not fine, up a lot in the night with a bad tummy.

    It's grey outside.

Morning everyone.  I had a quiet day. Hubby had an appointment for his toenail trimming (cancer medications effects), and then to the dentist.  I stayed home with Pixel.  👏👏.

We are catching up with 2 years backlog of appointments.  Dentist for OH yesterday,  opticians for both today.  Window cleaner wants to come will have to postpone him, but they need doing as there are streaks of sand all over them.

@D0rdogne_Damsel How about a white iced cake, with green shamrock leaves on it? Maybe a flavoured buttercream filling with a drop of green colouring in it?
