    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
I forgot to tell you I saw the first brimstone butterfly of the year yesterday 😊
Its a glorious morning … the  window’s wide open here and there’s so much birdsong; blackbird, song thrush, Robin and dunnocks all shouting their heads off about spring 😊

  • Morning @Dovefromabove, we keep being promised nice weather but it's still looking a bit dull here so far. The daffodils are all bobbing about very cheerfully though. Fingers crossed it will brighten up later.

Good news @Hostafan1 I do hope OH is not too disorientated with it all.

@Allotment Boy, hope you haven't caught anything from the crowded train.

Have a good day all. :)

    Hi all

Glorious sunny day, after the mist had lifted.
Will probably be wasted on me though, back to back rugby all day.
Met new neighbours late last night, they were very stressed, moving is not fun.

Bless them @punkdoc ... then it'll be a relief to them to know that they've got kind and pleasant neighbours  :)

So glad you got to visit @Hostafan1.
    Glorious day here today.
Bit of gardening then this evening we're meeting the family to visit an illuminated sculpture trail.  It was magical last year so we're looking forward to it.  Then pizza - all with toppings from local ingredients.  I'll be having the one with Baron Bigod on it.

Another brimstone here flying round the garden this morning, just as I was watching one of the foxes having a wander. First batch of seeds has sprouted (melon) so all the windowsills will soon be filling up.

I'm home from The Home and they didn't attack me with pitchforks and flaming torches.
I imagine they recognise that your presence and care make their lives a lot easier.  ;)

    Good afternoon folks!

I had a lazy morning this morning doing Wordle, Worldle, Birdle and Heardle!!  Got up and changed the bed linen, showered and washed hair, ran around the floor with the vacuum cleaner and made lunch.

It's grey and dull again and we have this weather for the next few days.  Meant to be raining tomorrow.  I'm going to sow some tomato and pepper seeds later this afternoon saving some, just in case.  The Padron peppers I sowed end of January are up at 2 leaf stage as are some Lemon Basil seeds and teensy weensy strawberry mint seeds.  I also sowed some flower seeds 10 days ago in my plastic unheated house - Virginia Stock, Delphiniums and Cornflowers.  They have surfaced.

I have a bunny in my garden making him/herself happily at home in a rockery behind some very bushy asparagus fern.  Not too keen on that!! 1 = 1 (friend) and 2 = 10 !!  It doesn't seem to have nibbled anything apparent.  I have lettuces (self-sown) kale and sprouting broccoli as well as peas which are now at least 6 inches high as are some broad beans.  The dog was sitting out there this morning, waiting - but Border Collies are not terriers so I don't think that will deter it.  Hopefully as the season wears on and I am more present in the garden, it may go elsewhere.  Although I do enjoy rabbit on the BBQ!!

    Have a pleasant Saturday!
