    Evening all!

The painting continues but is nearly done, including the new door between the kitchen and annex which houses a walk in pantry, laundry, boot room......   Just fiddly trims left now.

Chook saga continues too.  Fluffy now has signs of the dreaded parasitic worms so the remaining 3 are all back on the meds but I've continued my research and have just ordered 50 kilos of diatomaceous earth to spread in the hen house, hen pen and potager to kill off all mites, fleas, ticks and the dreaded killer parasitic worms.  Meanwhile they're getting a daily feed of mixed rice grains cooked in a broth of garlic and thyme to boost their immune systems.  Luckily they love it and get very vocal.

Hope you like your new haircut @Busy-Lizzie.   I don't think I need to go till next December unless it gets too long to clip up this summer.

And now my tired brain has forgotten everything else so I'll just wish you all a good evening and a good night's sleep.

Morning folks. Up at 6, light already. Normally would be doing washing etc(if there was any,) now have to wait for solar. Forecast is good. Lots of gardening to do
Hubby cut the grass yesterday. Planted the poppies and foxgloves I grew from seed last year. Enjoy the day whatever you are doing.

Good morning all 😊  ☕️ … another bright and sunny one. 🌞

The milkman is late this morning…
I think our previous chap has left … he used to come in the middle of the night … now it’s usually around 6 ish but it’s not arrived yet … but it’s not a problem I try to keep a couple of cartons of steri in the garage, just in case.

Morning everyone.  I ended up putting the last of the washing in the tumble dryer, which I’d been trying to resist.  However, it’s all now dry in put away. 😳😁

    Morning all.

We enjoyed our evening last night with our friends. There were 7 of us, seemed like pre-Covid.

That sounds like quite a gathering @Busy-Lizzie :)

When my parents first met Ma was a landgirl on Pa's parents'farm ... she milked the cows and then did the milk round with horse and cart, with churns of milk on the cart ... she would dip into them with pint and gill measures to fill up the jugs that the housewives brought out to her.  When Pa came home from the war they did a lot of their courting on that milk round.

Another grey day here and drismal tp raining tho mild.  Weekly shop today with a  couple of detours on the way for some interfacing and an impulse metre of gorgeous blue-green batik with dragonflies for patchwork, more DIY bits and pieces - spray paint for metal chairs, door insulating strips, grouting for my mosaics.......

Came home to find Possum in pain after falling down the stairs.  Good job I bought some chocolate then.

Message form dance teacher.  we're on our own this evening as the other 3 couples are all absent for various reasons.  That'll be a good workout then.  An hour's private class can be intense.

Glad you enjoyed yourselves with friends @Busy-Lizzie.  How long before you can go back again?  Hope you get some good news about OH's op soon.

Hope everyone is well and having a good day, whatever you're doing.

    Good afternoon
Busy rushed day today.  Grey and dismal here too @Obelixx and some decent rain forecast for over the weekend.

Done everything on my list - good!  Now off to a "Barre au Sol" class.  Home to pizza red wine tonight as our home team is playing a rugby match this evening.  Some R&R tomorrow methinks.

    Enjoy your evening.
