    Afternoon folks,
Sounds like you are going to be busy @chicky
I've been out in the garden all morning clearing out the veg plot and feeding with FBB.  Also cut back a lot of ivy and some of the clems.
Bestie popped round for a cuppa and a bit of a gossip.  I'm absolutely shattered now and plan to sofa surf for the rest of the day.  Hoping I'll be fit enough to go to Art class in the morning. Judging on how I'm aching now it will be touch and go.

    Afternoon all,

CAB training sounds good @chicky, hope you are recovering well and starting to feel fitter.

I've not done a lot today apart from my usual mile and a half walk this morning. I had a back and shoulder massage which was very sorely needed after my recent battles with digging out stumps and ended up with strict instructions to sit on the sofa the rest of the day. Had a terrible effort to park near the salon though, had to do four or five circuits of the nearby streets and ended up on double yellows near a corner. Naughty but I was desperate and running late by then. Wedneday's are always bad, don't quite know why.

Annoyingly it then turned out to be quite mild and good gardening weather but I've obeyed instructions!

Looking out the front window I can see a couple of magnolia blossoms - white stellata ones - they look good with the pink cherry blossom behind them.

Hope you enjoyed tennis @Dovefromabove,  rather you than me, I'd be useless.

Had a couple of good games and thoroughly enjoyed myself thanks @Lizzie27 … then, like you I spent the afternoon mainly holding the sofa down 😆

Now for supper … sausage and veg traybake. 😋

I finished sweeping the back bit where the washing line is and I've had my hair cut today. I've been trimming it myself for the last few months.

Off to our friends soon for dinner.

    Evening folks.

Met some old works mates for breakfast at a local garden centre/nursery this morning. I must say the garden centre’s display of Daffodils and Easter things was really uplifting.
Seed compost purchased, so I can make a start on this year’s sowing now.

Take it easy folks, now we are all starting to tackle garden jobs! The season for aching backs, pulled muscles, scrams, muddy knees and grubby hands is back!
