Great that you were able to see round the museum, LB. No, I'm a messy croissant eater, especially as I put them in the microwave for a short while to warm them, the plonk butter and marmalade on top!
I forgot to put bedding in the machine this morning. It's been in a basket since I left to go to Norfolk in February.
I worked in the veg garden this morning, dug up the rest of the potatoes, still in good condition, and I weeded the patch which will be used for greens. I've been eating the curly kale in the old patch and there is still perpetual spinach.
This afternoon I took my Laptop to the repair man. It is too old and infirm to repair. The man told me to go and buy a new computer, he only sold secondhand ones. I went and bought one, had the money as I was expecting I would need to for a while. The man now has both and he is setting up the new one. I hope I haven't lost anything.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
LB how nice to have a guided tour and being asked to provide a potted history to go with your fatherโs uniform. I eat my croissants nibbling away. ย Busy afternoon I now have storage shelves. It required small fingers to get the nuts and bolts in. ย Lily I hope you got on okay with your shopping. ย Hazel I used to have a metal slider phone by Samsung which I loved, it had quite a weight to it.
Sorry, I just came home and didn't read back, so I don't know yet what was happening here. After school, I packed MAx in the car and we went to the cottage. It was lovely and sunny day, only wind is annoying. We had wonderful afternoon and I finished second raised bed, filled first one with soil and manure and planted lettuce. I deserve a hot cup of tea and rest a bit.
Busy, RIP your old laptop and I don't think that you need worry as it is fairly easy to transfer stuff. You will enjoy getting used to the new one.
Ante, I hope that Max didn't think you were cheating him out of a walk taking him for a car ride . Well done on finishing the second raised bed. Think I'll join you in a cup of tea.
I have been reading up about my all year round lettuce and I'll be sowing some seeds of that soon. The Cosmos 'Candy Stripe' I sowed 4 days ago are up already as is the catnip I got as free seeds from The Cats Protection League.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Evening everyone, Iโm sorry for the absence Iโve just been having too much fun ๐ Itโs been a lovely few days seeing my cousin and making the most of the weather over the weekend. Hope everyone here is ok I need to have a proper catch up, but just wanted to pop my head in ๐
Good to see you @Chivetalking ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ Glad that you and your family are well. Its been great weather these last few days, glad you've had a great weekend with your cousin.ย Night night from me too, sleep well and sweet dreams everyoneย
I got the AFCON football question right on UC @Ladybird4 (none of the students did). Eldest commented that was why I'm not nerdy enough to have ever gone on Cheeky mare!
LB, it's satisfying that your Dad's uniforms now have new purpose. Nice that John gave you a tour thru museum.
Chive, I'm happy that you had a lovely weekend with your cousins.ย ย
We have lovely and sunny morning. Finally without wind. I slept very well after all work on fresh air. Plans for today, after school, is to sow new round of lettuce and herbs, prepare one parcel with seeds for one forum member and plant dahlia tubers.ย Now tea.
