  • Good morning all, a chilly night needing winter boots today.  Alfie kept waking me so I’ve ordered another birthday present for dad and also a special C*******s present for both of them.  Quite big so I’ll have to wrap and leave them round at theirs, save me carrying.  Lily be careful underfoot whilst shopping for cards.  Time for some tea.

@bluebellsintherain your very organised for present 🎁  buying  Rosie. Don't forget where you've hidden them 😉🤭
The frost seems to have gone now. Although the sun is out its still rather chilly. I've just popped out to the bins 🥶

I did wonder how on earth they filmed that @Songbird-1. It's amazing what we can now watch without realising what actually goes into getting all that footage :o

I was on Thai time last night @Ladybird4, back on UK time this morning. Hope I don't need any yanks to help with IT issues later on :D

All right, 'fess up. Who nicked the sun whilst I was out this morning? I had a wonderful morning. Picked up handy brother and we went to the Museum/Heritage Centre where the curator, John, met us. The museum wasn't open which was great as John gave us a tour. He was delighted with the uniforms - and even kept the battered old suitcase they had been stored in for over 20+ years.
They have a lot of school trips through the year and they allow the children to try on some of the uniforms - which they thoroughly enjoy. Dad would have smiled at that as he loved small people and was like a magnet to them.
He has asked me to write a potted history of Dad and Stuart is SURE he has some photographs in his packing! These will be mounted and put on display too.
Hazel, I was interested to read your post re vintage mobile phones, I have a handful of them including a dinky red Nokia (which I loved at the time). I, too, watched that marvellous first episode of the second series of Dynasties. I absolutely love pumas. I thought it fascinating that they could be so close to Rupestre and her cubs and they were completely undisturbed. Looking foward to the elephants next time.
Biglad, do you have to work in bahts?

p.s. has anyone (Busy?) got a foolproof way to eat croissants without ending up without half a bakery down your front?

Oops, sorry LB, how lovely that you were able to have a guided tour of the museum. Did you keep some mementoes from the case?

Isn't it like Terry Wogan's mango eating advice - stand naked in the sink.

Fortunately not @Ladybird4. Just GBP for paying non-Thai folk working over there temporarily.

Good to hear your news from the museum.
