Evening all, Been busy the last few days looking after the boys, gardening and art classes. I'm hoping for a couple of days in the garden over the weekend as the weather is supposed to be good. Hope everyone is OK.
Good morning all. Ante I’m sure you and mum are looking forward to seeing dad at the spa. I hope he’s doing well there. Wishing you a good week ahead. Lily it’s good you’re feeling better. Busy I hope you’ll feel better soon. Hazel I’ve woken up after falling asleep on the bed yesterday late afternoon. I’ve had a good sleep and just feeding Alfie and having some tea. LB I’m baking some bread for later. Chive Alfie suddenly spied a moth and I managed to turn the lamp off stopping my furry friend from gliding through some ornaments. Debs I’m glad your sons were able to rearrange their holiday.
Quite chilly but we’ve had a few days of sunshine and some spring flowers are in bloom which is always lovely to see.
Rosie, I'm glad that you slept well. Enjoy your tea ana smell of baking bread.
LB, what a laugh you had with Jack. I hope that he is well. It suppose that only my mum will be able to go inside, but yesterday our government lifted most of the covid measurements, s I'm not yet sure.
I slept very well and got up early. Outside is still high wind. I'll join Rosie with cup of tea, and then is pets breakfast time. Bet you enjoyed watching GW last night.
Good morning RosieBB, Ante and all to arrive soon. Glad you managed to preserve the ornaments RosieBB. Good to see you Yvie, it looks like we will get our nice gardening days this weekend. Safe journey today Ante. I hope that you can go in to see your Dad. I guess Max will have to wait for his walk until later.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Haven't read back fully - just a skim. Glad to hear about all the buying, planting and new growth you lot are enjoying. I've managed a couple of short stints this week - just digging out more roots Hoping the weather is good tomorrow as I should be able to put in a proper shift.
I'm now 2 weeks into a 13-week contract but have 12 weeks left I don't like the maths going on there, but it is typical of the industry - everything 'slides'!
I enjoyed Cheltenham as a couple of bookmakers kept giving me free bets. My horse racing knowledge is zero and I don't bet on it as a rule, but didn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth £50 was a nice little profit for no risk!
This fella was giving it plenty yesterday evening - perched on the neighbour's shed. Or did he think it was actually the stage at the O2 arena He gave it his full repertoire I reckon.
Just watching the cricket before a cuppa and r-a-a-f duties this morning. Shouldn't be too much grief as it's only a kids game.
Good morning all. Beautiful day forecast and I am working all day. Curses!!
Never mind got big plans for tomorrow I am clearing Grahams outside enclosure and plan to incorporate the water feature from the allotment. It will be too high for him to get into but I am putting in a little solar fountain. I have noticed that he, like Trevor before him loves the sound of water.
I have also got a little retractable washing line for fiancé to put up.
Lots of clearing and tidying to do still before I have the fun of planting stuff out.
Good morning everyone . Rosie I hope you are snuggled up and back in bed .Ante I do hope that you will be able to see your dad today .LB I hope the weather stays dry so that you can do some gardening .BL that is a gorgeous pic . Enjoy you r a a f duties .Debs enjoy your garden plans tomorrow. I am sure Graham will enjoy the sound of water.Dont work too hard today .
